Bruno PEYROU is an expert in marine fish farming as well as fish and shrimp aquacultural engineering.
He has experience in the farming of various species of fish and shrimp in hatcheries and broodstock centres, larval rearing and pre ongrowing, land based ongrowing with recyling and off-shore cages, as well as experience in project engineering and fish and shrimp technico-economical studies
Bruno PEYROU accompanied SEPIA in its development for over 20 years, commencing with its very first farm in Martigues, France in 1980.
He was responsible initially for units then farms in France and the Mediterranean basin for over ten years.
He then became part of the department supervising management of all the groups fish hatcheries and ongrowing facilities. He was in charge of monitoring performances, control and consolidation of rearing procedures, computerisation of management procedures, technology transfer and internal development, market strategy analysis, productivity and profitability of the groups farms.
Bruno PEYROU is also particularly specialised in the design of aquacultural engineering projects, financial packages and start up of operations for marine finfish.
In 2001 fortified by his past experience, Bruno PEYROU founded his own company, OCEAN CONSEIL offering consulting and other Aquaculture services. This structure is the core of the marine fish department of AQUA-TECHNA AQUACULTURE. It encompasses a network of senior experts involved in all aspects of the aquaculture industry and covers all related sectors.
